Sources tell TMZ that Shia LaBeouf recently took a train to San Diego and bought a bright red 1975 Checker Marathon — the same type of car used as a taxi back in the day. No, it doesn’t transform into a giant ass kicking robot.

During his Disney days, Shia was driven around in a Checker by his manager.

The 21-year-old Indiana Jones hottie wore his support for progressive rock band Emerson, Lake and Palmer on his t-shirt.

The back of his tee reads, “Welcome Back My Friends to the Show That Never Ends” which is part of title “Welcome Back My Friends to the Show That Never Ends… Ladies and Gentlemen, Emerson, Lake & Palmer,” a 1974 live album by Emerson, Lake and Palmer.
